Catalog description

This course will study the human growth process by exploring narratives of strength, faith, courage and inspiration that reveal the human capacity to overcome the ordinary and respond to the challenges of life. Theoretical concepts from theology, gerontology and social science will be developed and applied to events occurring in the students' daily lives and to current world issues. Core courses are not open to Freshmen or Sophomores, except for associate degree candidates.
