Catalog description

The green business sector is rapidly expanding, led by entrepreneurs who strive to achieve the triple bottom line of "people, planet, and profits." Students will become familiar with the numerous types of "green businesses" that exist today and the many factors driving the increasing adoption of green business practices. The class will also look at corporate social responsibility and examples of green policies from large multinational corporations, and examine how businesses can earn profits without sacrificing the environment or human health.
