The Language of Business: Intermediate Excel

Catalog description

This course offers students the opportunity to extend their basic knowledge of Excel and to understand advanced Excel functionality. The students will apply learned skills to genuine business applications, including financial analysis and financial modeling. Topics will include a review of advanced financial formulas (present value, future value, internal rate of return etc.), and an introduction to logical and reference formulas. The student will also delve into how data can be manipulated in Excel. Finally, the student will explore how financial models are created.
