Catalog description

This course is designed to provide a historic overview of the arts through the ages, particularly for those students who do not have formal art training. A historic perspective of the role of art in primitive to literate cultures with emphasis on twentieth century works will be presented and discussed. This course will include an overview of current issues in the field of art therapy. Fulfills General Education Art History requirement.
