Catalog description

A continuation of Ceramics I. This class gives a choice to focus on either handbuilding or the pottery wheel while examining a deeper exploration into structural techniques and surface. Students will learn about clay in a social and cultural context throughout history. Students start to develop individual narratives through mark making, imagery and data as decoration. This course also introduces current digital printing technology and the firing processes.
