Elementary Spanish II

Catalog description

This course is a continuation of Spanish 101, designed to strengthen students' speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in Spanish. Emphasis is placed on vocabulary and grammar related to daily routines, health and emotions, shopping, travel, professions, holidays, and the environment. Students will develop greater control of the preterite, imperfect, future, conditional, and present perfect tenses, as well as reflexive verbs and pronoun usage. Cultural topics from across the Spanish-speaking world are integrated throughout to enhance communication and cross-cultural understanding.
