The standards that guide the personal and professional conduct of a person working within their scope of practice in the addiction treatment field. Includes, but not limited to, how federal, state, and professional organizations define and regulate code of conduct, confidentiality, forensic issues, and client rights. Prerequisite: Approval of Instructor or Associate Dean required.
