Catalog description

This course focuses on selection criteria for the use of pharmacologic agents used in pulmonary care. Includes principles of pharmacology and drug receptors as they relate to patients with cardiopulmonary disease. This course will also include, drug dose calculations, drugs used to control airway edema or secretions, central and peripheral nervous system in relation to drug administration, and drugs used in the management of ventilator patients.
