This course examines the theoretical foundations of social and behavioral health, discussing both classic and emergent theories. Students are introduced to the scope of work within behavioral health settings where client services are provided. The course focuses on practical theories, models, and practices that the students can apply in workplaces at the individual, interpersonal, and community levels.
