Catalog description

This course explores the law and procedures related to family relationships and domestic matters; includes history, basic principles, and ethical rules of family law. Additional topics include premarital agreements, custody and visitation, child support, alimony, property and debt distribution, initial and responsive pleadings, pendente lite motions, contested proceedings, alternative dispute resolution, separation agreements, and the dissolution trial.
