Catalog description

This course covers the different types of real and personal property and the various forms of property ownership. Students will learn to classify property and about the different ways to take title to real property. This course also covers legal descriptions, contracts, purchases, contingencies, encumbrances, mortgages, leases, land uses, alternative dispute resolution, ethical concerns related to real estate transactions, how to perform title searches, and how to prepare a deed and various other real estate documents under the supervision of an attorney.
