Medical Coding II (CPT/HCPCS)

Catalog description

This course will equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to assign CPT and HCPCS procedural coding while continuing to utilize ICD coding. Students will learn how to extract information from medical reports to identify the appropriate codes needed for third-party reimbursement in accordance with established guidelines.
