Catalog description

Students will examine the education, skills, and certifications required for each profession. Through career assessments, guest speakers, workplace tours, and hands-on activities, students will develop a clear understanding of their personal strengths, interests, and potential career paths. Emphasis is placed on professional communication, workplace expectations, ethical considerations, and strategies for career planning and goal setting. By the end of the course, students will be equipped to make informed decisions about educational pathways and career opportunities in service-oriented professions.
