Catalog description

This course considers bodies, both particles and rigid bodies, under the influence of balanced forces such that the body is either stationary or moving at a constant velocity. Customary topics included are: force systems, resultants, equilibrium, distributed forces, area moments, fluid statics, friction and stability.
