Catalog description

This course builds upon foundational periodontal concepts with an emphasis on nonsurgical and surgical therapies, adjunctive treatment modalities, and periodontal maintenance. Students will analyze risk factors, evaluate evidence-based therapies including chemotherapeutics and lasers, and develop skills in documentation and case presentation. The course integrates emerging technologies and research trends to prepare students for comprehensive periodontal care planning.
