This course provides a comprehensive introduction to Linux, covering its fundamental architecture, key components, and unique features compared to other operating systems. Students will gain hands-on experience navigating the Linux command line and graphical user interfaces, as well as installing and configuring various Linux distributions. The curriculum includes user and group management, disk and file system administration, and performance monitoring using essential tools. Participants will also learn to configure networking settings, explore cloud and container technologies, and implement shell scripting for automation.
