This course examines the principles of chemistry, chemical reactions, thermochemistry, quantum theory, the periodic table, and chemical bonding. The proper use of lab equipment and the application of the scientific method are also covered. This course is appropriate for students majoring in science and other programs requiring one year of chemistry.
