Practicum in ELL: Elementary

Offered: F, Sp, Su. This course is intended for students who have completed the required courses in the TESOL Option and are seeking the ELL certification. Students will apply effective instructional and assessment techniques while working with elementary ELLs. The Practicum is completed under the supervision of experienced teachers in the context of the ELL or regular classroom setting. Prerequisites: TSL 559, TSL 560, TSL 562, and TSL 664, each with a grade of C or higher. Section information text: First 7-week session Must apply a semester in advance. Placements are field-based and arranged by students with instructor support.
