Offered: F, Sp. Development of skills in managing the care of patients across the lifespan in a variety of healthcare settings. Content includes nursing care management models, quality improvement, discharge planning and strategies for managing high-risk client populations. Implications for healthcare policy, resource utilization and health systems management are explored. Prerequisites: Admission to the Nursing program. Section information text: Class will meet on some Mondays from 2:30-4:20 alternating with NUR488.
