Offered: F. This course engages students in the study of English grammar to facilitate writing, editing, the teaching of writing. Students will learn about the relationship between language rules, language practice, and meaning. Students will learn the effects that grammatical structures and style choices have on texts and readers, and will apply what they have learned to writing, editing, or the teaching of writing, as appropriate to their degree program and career plans. Prerequisites: ENG 108 or ENG 112 or ETC 200.
