Offered: F, Sp, Su. Focuses on writing as a process, rhetorical analysis, text-based writing, and integrating external material with students' analysis to logically support claims. ENG 104 fulfills the first half of the general studies requirement in Written Communications. Prerequisite: A grade of C or higher in ENG 100, or a score of 18 or higher on the ACT English subtest, or a passing score on the Writing Placement Examination (WPE), or a high school GPA of 2.7 or higher from the junior or senior year.
