Catalog description

Offered: F, Sp. Philosophical, ethical, and legal problems related to secondary education instructional and assessment strategies, including classroom and laboratory experiences and data-analysis; considers interpersonal relations as applied to teaching all diverse students, including those with special needs or ELL. Special attention will be provided to working well with cultural diversity and with the appropriate instruction of English Language Learners. Must be taken concurrently with EDU 409. Prerequisites: EDU 376 and EDU 377. Section information text: Though EDU 404 is 100% online class, students will meet 4 times live via Zoom on the following Mondays from 7:00 to 8:00 PM, 8/31/26, 9/28/26, 10/26/26, and 11/30/26. All students should have reliable access to the internet. To be taken concurrently with EDU 409.
