Offered: F. Methods of synthesis of organic compounds, reaction paths, chemical bonding, and geometry of organic molecules; aliphatic and aromatic compounds. Topics include substitution, elimination, and electrophilic addition reactions and mechanisms along with an overview of functional groups. Three hours lecture. Prerequisite: A grade of C or higher in CHE 120.
