Catalog description

Offered: F. Comprehensive study of construction management principles and professional practice integrating project organization, contracts, procurement, planning and scheduling, cost control, safety, quality control, resource allocation, and risk management. Emphasis is placed on the roles and responsibilities of the contractor, superintendent, owner, designer, and inspector throughout the project lifecycle. Students complete a senior capstone project applying construction design, methods, cost analysis, specifications, contracts, and computer-based planning and control tools. Prerequisites: CET 480, EGT 350, and EGT 370. Section information text: Students must have access to internet in order to be successful in course and contact instructor prior to start of class.
