Offered: F, Sp, Su. This course explores advanced financial reporting and corporate governance topics while building practical skills in data analysis and visualization. Students will work with large-scale financial and capital market datasets using tools such as MySQL, Excel, Power BI, and Tableau (no prior coding experience required). The curriculum integrates modern analytics techniques, including data mining, machine learning, and AI, to strengthen quantitative and problem-solving abilities. Additionally, students will learn to apply scientific research methods to accounting and finance, from formulating questions to interpreting results. Prerequisite: ACC 633.
