Catalog description

Credit Hours: 2 This course presents knowledge and skills in mechanical, electrical, and controls technology. Students will develop competencies to operate and maintain pneumatics, electricity, sensors, actuators, and controls. Industry 4.0 will be introduced, and students will learn how Industry 4.0 and other technical advancements impact manufacturing. Upon successful completion of this course, students will receive the following certifications through the National Coalition of Certification Centers (NC3) - Festo Industry 4.0 Certification Program: Introduction to Mechatronics Certification and Fundamentals of Industry 4.0 Certificate of Knowledge. Lecture Hours: 2 Lab Hours: 0 Semesters Offered: Fall
