Credit Hours: 3 A course designed for the exploration and discussion of major trends and issues affecting contemporary nursing practice in a global society including quality, safety, delegation, and evidence based practice. Also thoroughly preps the nursing students to take the NCLEX-RN licensure exam by integrating an online NCLEX-RN review course. Meets the capstone requirement for the ASN degree. Additional course work will be required for the student taking this as an Honors course, and a B grade or higher must be earned in order for the student to receive Honors designation. Course fee Prerequisite(s): Grade of C or better in NUR 204 . Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 Semesters Offered: Fall, Spring
