Credit Hours: 3 HIT 260 provides the Health Information Technology student a study of legal and ethical issues in healthcare with a focus on healthcare legal terminology, use of legal documents, legal concepts and principles and the ability to identify potential abuse or fraudulent trends through data analysis.
