Credit Hours: 3 Examines health record and information systems in hospitals, alternative care settings and health related agencies. Roles of the health information administrator in traditional and nontraditional health care settings are explored and evaluated. Managing the flow of information in diverse healthcare settings are studied. Prerequisite(s): Grade of C or better in HIT 100 or concurrent enrollment with HIT 100 .
