Credit Hours: 3 This course focuses on a broad overview of autism with emphasis on characteristics, definition, and educational aspects, and contemporary issues in their field of special education. It is designed to provide students with a firm grounding in the foundations of teaching persons with autism and expose them to recent developments in the field of education.
