Credit Hours: 4 Core 42: MOTR BIOL 150L - Biology with Lab. First half of 2-semester introductory biology sequence for biology majors and minors. Introduction to the concepts of structure and function at the molecular and cellular level, genetics and evolution. Students not meeting prerequisite must have permission by department to enroll. Partially fulfills the general education requirements in the natural sciences. This course may not be taken pass/not pass. A grade of C or better in this course is a prerequisite for enrollment in BIO 122 . Prerequisite(s): Appropriate placement score or a grade of C or better in ENG 101 and placement in MTH 130 or higher, or a grade of C or better in MTH 103 and placement into ENG 110 , or a grade of C or better in ENG 100 .
