Catalog description

Credit Hours: 4 This course will introduce students to cognitive behavioral therapy, parent management training, parent-child interaction therapy, and other evidence based practices. The types of medications commonly prescribed for emotional, personal, and physical disorders will be identified along with the requirement of administering and observing self-administration of medications. Complete course with a grade of C or better. Prerequisite(s): BHS 250 with a grade of C or better. Lecture Hours: 4 Lab Hours: 0 Semesters Offered: Fall, Spring
