Catalog description

Prerequisites: SPANISH 2101 . This intermediate-level course develops students' Spanish proficiency through real-world communication and the study of Spanish-speaking cultures. Students engage with authentic materials such as short stories, films, and other media to explore diverse themes that strengthen cultural literacy and interpretive skills. The course reviews and expands key grammatical concepts and vocabulary introduced in earlier coursework while fostering the development of increasingly complex ideas. Students refine their writing through drafting and revision while participating in oral and collaborative activities that prepare them for advanced coursework in Spanish.
