Catalog description

Prerequisites: SCMA 2301 and a minimum campus GPA of 2.0. This course examines the design, analysis, and operation of business logistics systems. Topics include supply chain trade-offs and decision-making, transportation planning, facility location and network design, inventory management, warehouse operations, sustainable logistics, and the role of technology. Through learning these topics, students also develop analytical and problem-solving skills such as data cleaning and processing, Excel-based modeling, heuristics, linear optimization, and mixed-integer programming.
