Catalog description

Prerequisites: SCMA 2301 and a 2.0 campus GPA. This course covers procurement processes and supplier management, with emphasis on managing a supplier base for both products and services. Topics include the strategic role of procurement in supply chains, sourcing options, identification and evaluation of requirements, the role of product design, make-versus-buy decisions, and supplier selection and evaluation.
