Conducting II - Instrumental: 2-3 semester hours

Catalog description

Prerequisite: PRACTM 2510 . This course provides advanced study in instrumental conducting and rehearsal techniques, score reading, and interpretation. Music Education majors must enroll for 3 credits, which includes Instrumental Literature Laboratory. The additional credit enables students to examine the analysis and evaluation of selected instructional and concert materials for elementary, junior and senior high school instrumental groups.
