Catalog description

Prerequisites: MATH 1030 and MATH 1035 , or MATH 1045 , or a satisfactory score on the UMSL Math Placement Examination, obtained at most one year prior to enrollment in this course, or Advanced Credit Program approval. This course provides an introduction to differential and integral calculus. Topics may include limits, derivatives, related rates, Newton's method, the Mean-Value Theorem, Max-Min problems, the integral, the Fundamental Theorem of Integral Calculus, areas, volumes, and average values.
