Non-Western Traditions Series-Social Sciences

Catalog description

Prerequisite: Consent of the Dean of the Honors College. These seminars focus on different topics in the social sciences but address themes and problems in non-western cultures that are related to the freshmen core classes ( HONORS 1200 and HONORS 1201 ). Students will produce formal papers and participate in individual or small group presentations. This repeatable course may be taken for credit up to three times provided that the versions of the course are sufficiently distinct. These seminars satisfy the Cultural Diversity Graduation Requirement.
