Practicum in Investments

Catalog description

Prerequisites: FINANCE 2500 and a 2.0 campus GPA. Students will apply their knowledge of stocks and bonds by managing a real dollar portfolio of securities. This course requires that students perform technical and fundamental analysis, prepare research reports, present proposals and participate in group investment decisions. The University's Student Investment Trust provides the money for students to invest. Course may be repeated for credit up to a maximum of 3 credit hours.
