Prerequisite(s): SCMA 2300 , ACCTNG 2400 , and a minimum overall GPA of 2.0. This course examines the concepts of cash flow and the time value of money, which are central to determining firm value. It introduces analytical tools used to assess a firm's operations and financial performance in terms of risk, profitability, and efficiency. The course also presents methods for evaluating capital investment decisions and introduces asset-pricing models used to estimate a firm's cost of capital.
