Catalog description

Prerequisites: ENGL 1100 or equivalent and junior standing. This course introduces students to the principles of fundraising and grant writing for educators and professionals working in diverse settings, including nonprofit organizations, for-profit enterprises, and community agencies. Blending traditional grant proposal writing with contemporary fundraising approaches and outreach, students explore and develop a range of strategies for building financial and community support. Throughout the course, students work to develop a comprehensive fundraising strategy tailored to a real or imagined initiative, integrating multiple approaches to outreach, engagement, and resource development.
