Healthy Sexuality

Catalog description

Prerequisites: EDUC 1005 and admission to the OIPE program. This course provides information about body parts, specifically medical and colloquial terms as well as how parts function, and the other facets of sexuality, including gender identity, sexual orientation and sexual decision making. Topics include sexuality as it pertains to social expectations, individual expectations, consent, and legal and social boundaries, specifically for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
