Experiential Education in Community Settings

Prerequisite(s): Concurrent enrollment in TCH ED 1001 . This course examines experiential education in informal and community-based settings. Students will explore theories of experiential learning from a systems perspective and apply them to real-world environments that foster curiosity, belonging, and meaningful engagement. Emphasis is placed on evaluating experiential learning opportunities, assessing instructional materials, and designing inclusive learning experiences that reflect the needs of diverse communities.
