Archaeology is a subfield of anthropology that studies past human societies from their material remains. Explores the development of archaeology as a scientific discipline. Archaeological methods and theories will be explained using case studies from the continents of Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe and the Americas. This course counts toward the Global Perspectives graduation requirement.
