Catalog description

Prerequisites: INFSYS 1800 and ACCTNG 2410 . This course examines the fundamentals of accounting information systems, including internal controls, transaction processing cycles with current accounting software and data analytics used by accounting professionals, including emerging technology. It also focuses on the design and implementation of advanced spreadsheets, using complex functions and tools in Excel with VBA, to address accounting data needs beyond traditional financial and managerial accounting.
