Model United Nations

Catalog description

This course is designed to provide an opportunity for in-depth role playing that leads to a better understanding of the United Nations and other regional and international organizations. Coursework includes the study of current events, important international disagreements, key international conventions, and the protocol and procedures of UN diplomacy. Students will prepare for participation in the American Model United Nations conference and other international organization simulations as representatives of Missouri State University. Prerequisite: permission.
