Catalog description

Nature of American Federalism and the dynamics of intergovernmental relationships; the course examines the role of the national and the state governments in intergovernmental relations as well as the state, local, interstate and interlocal relations. Issues of federal grants, fiscal outlook of cities, problems of inner cities, and metropolitan governments are also discussed. Prerequisite: PLS 101 .
