Community Planning Practicum

Catalog description

This course provides students the opportunity to apply the accumulated knowledge of planning theory and skills learned throughout the program. It focuses on the process of community planning and plan development. It also provides experience in the application of planning principles and analytic techniques to an actual planning scenario. Students will work on an individual basis and as part of a team to create a planning document. Field trip(s) required. May be taught concurrently with PLN 672. Cannot receive credit for both PLN 572 and PLN 672. Public Affairs Capstone Experience course. Prerequisite: PLN 571 . Recommended Prerequisite: PLN 367 .
