-5 Advanced topics in physics which may vary from year to year. Some typical topics: solid state, nuclear structure, plasmas, fluids, astrophysics, applied group theory. Inter-disciplinary topics such as atmospheric physics and spectroscopy might also be offered. Variable content course. May be repeated to a maximum of six hours. Prerequisite: permission.
