Catalog description

This course introduces students to feminist philosophy by studying feminist approaches to ethics and politics. After an historical overview, course will examine a variety of theoretical and political concerns. The overall aim of the course is to trace some of the important debates in feminist theory and investigate the ways in which gender and other social factors are of social and political consequence.
